Etihad Airways, in partnership with Armani/Casa delivers an unparalleled premium travel experience, setting an elevated new benchmark for the aviation industry. The partnership creates a unique vision for Etihad’s premium offering, exclusively designed with celebrated designer Giorgio Armani.

The Etihad and Armani/Casa collaboration introduces ‘The Constellation Collection’, inspired by an integral part of the UAE’s heritage, the stars that have provided a guiding light and celestial navigation for the Emirati people for generations. Offering an ‘Elevated Style’ experience for Etihad’s guests, the range is embellished with a bespoke geometric pattern that subtly adorns the collection.

Redefining the Business Class experience for travellers, the collection includes a comprehensive dining service spanning Chinaware, glassware and cutlery for a completely luxurious inflight experience.

The dining service features refined silhouettes with elevated contemporary finishes, mixed materials, and embossed patterns. The use of multiple textures represents the cultural diversity of the UAE and how each comes together to form this elegant and cohesive collection. The colour palette reflects the surroundings of Abu Dhabi; dark green inspired by the region’s date palm trees, aquamarine representing the beauty of the mangroves surrounding the city and slate to symbolise the modernity of the iconic Abu Dhabi skyline.

The signature cutlery is elegantly tactile with patterned handles bringing the unmistakable Armani/Casa experience directly to the guest.

The collection also features signature items like the Giorgio Armani branded salt and pepper pinch pots housing freshly crushed black peppers and salt flakes, as well as gold-plated stirrers inspired by an aircraft propeller, for cocktails and hot beverages.

The collection is designed in line with the airline’s commitment to sustainability. Durable, high-quality material and innovative designs have reduced equipment weight by up to 10%, resulting in less fuel burn. The full Chinaware collection is produced locally in the UAE further reducing its production carbon footprint. The new, iconic gold stirrers replace all plastic stirrers, helping to further reduce single-use plastics.

Etihad brings the Armani brand into a full immersive 360° brand experience onboard spanning Amenity, Loungewear and Slippers, in addition to the Meal Serviceware and Textiles ranges.
