As the official airline of the journey for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, we were eager to introduce First and Business Class Amenity Kits that were designed to resonate the excitement of the biggest sporting event of the year.
The FIFA season saw limited-edition FIFA branded bags crafted in faux leather, designed in the form of crossbody bags for women and body bags for men – a style that was both purposeful and elegant. Each bag contained a number of Diptyque favourites and were offered to our premium customers on our inbound flights to Doha, allowing customers to carry with them travel and match-time essentials as they journeyed through the city in a hands-free fashion, comforted with the knowledge that their travel essentials were close and safe with them. On the outbound flights, customers received our amenity gift boxes, designed in the spirit and brand colours of the Qatar 2022 World Cup – a token and memory of this event that they could either keep for themselves or gift their loved ones as a keepsake.
The bags became a unique commemorative item for this once in a lifetime event and were used to hold the customer’s travel accessories, i.e. their passports, tickets, Hayya cards, and wallets as they could conveniently take it with them throughout their trip. Lightweight and aesthetically appealing, the bags doubled up as a worthy souvenir as well.
Furthermore, the amenity kits included premium Diptyque products – a nourishing lip balm, fresh body lotion, essential face cream and a beautifully-scented Diptyque fragrance. The combination of style and fragrance we believe will have gone a long way in creating a lasting ‘memory’.
